VTC, September 17, 2020 – As part of the Memorandum of Understanding, between the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security, (before named MITE), and the Ministry of National Development of the Republic of Zambia, for cooperation in the field of adaptation and the fight against climate change, the first meeting of the Joint Committee was held by videoconference. During the meeting, the documents that will regulate the cooperation between the two countries were discussed and approved: Rules of Procedure of the Joint Committee, Guidelines, Financial Document and M&V procedures.
Furthermore, the project “Upgrade of the Lundazi Green village project – Magodi Solar, (photo-voltaic), mini-grid” was approved.
