COP27 - Signing of the new Memorandum of Understanding

Sharm el Sheikh, November 12, 2022: In the frame of the COP27, in Egypt, the Italian Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, the Environment, Tourism and Handcrafts of the Union of the Comoros, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to continue the collaboration started with the 2015 Agreement. Italy was represented by the Director General, Min. Plen. dr. Alessandro Modiano, while H.E. Houmedi Masidie signed for the Ministry of the Union of the Comoros. The cooperation between the two countries is further consolidated as they join forces to complete the DECOR Project: integrated plan for the management of solid waste in the Moroni Capital.
