Si terra il 9 settembre a Brussels la Riunione di Alto Livello di preparazione alla COP12 CBD per discutere principalmente sui seguenti temi:

• Resource Mobilization
  - Adoption of final targets
  - Role of the private Sector and innovative financial mechanisms
  - Mainstreaming and link to SDGs
• Selected other salient issues to be tackled at COP12
  - marine biodiversity - ecologically or biologically significant marine areas (EBSAs)
  - synthetic biology (SynBio)
  - biodiversity safeguards and REDD+ activities
• Entry into force of the Nagoya protocol and MOP1
